The historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are a short drive from Spingle Barn while the excitement of Alton Towers, for children of all ages is just over the hill.
The national nature reserve Lathkill Dale and the start of a days walking.
High Peak and Tissington trails is where you can hire a bicycle and venture to either Ashbourne or Cromford through the fantastic Peak District countryside.
A huge log burning stove warms the double height lounge of Spingle Barn. Many restaurants in Bakewell & Buxton provide excellent dining options. Buxton is home to the famous Opera House, where you can see a show by many famous performers.
We are now lucky to have an artisan ice cream parlor in the village - supplying the finest in Jersey milk ice cream, perfect to accompany the selections of cake and coffees at their cafe.
With so much to see and do around the Peaks it is the ideal family holiday choice.
Spingle Barn is located on a hill farm in the White Peak village of Monyash in the heart of The Peak District National Park. The village has both a pub, which serves good food and local ales, and a cafe. Within easy reach of the market towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne there are many things to do and see around the area, both locally and further afield..
